Learning scuba diving with Planet Scuba is a fun experience, and absolutely safe. Our classes are small, with seldom more than 3 or 4 students per instructor. Our PADI Diving Instructors are true professionals; they love scuba diving and are very patient. They like nothing better than to introduce a newcomer to Thailand's underwater world.
Any of the courses described below can be taken at Planet Scuba in Bangkok, Planet Scuba in Koh Tao or with Samui International Diving School in Koh Samui. Planet Scuba in Bangkok is a PADI dive centre. Samui International Diving School in Koh Samui is a PADI CDC dive centre and Planet Scuba in Koh Tao is a PADI 5 star IDC dive centre.

Dive Course Highlights/Brief Description
Discover Scuba Diving Course
The fun & safe way to try scuba diving for the first time. You join our regular weekend trip. Your Diving Instructor will explain you the basics and practice with you in shallow water near the shore. Then you make two dives along the coral reef while under close supervision of your Instructor.

Scuba Diver Course
A course designed for those who don't have time for the complete Open Water Course but still want to get certification. This course certifies you for diving to a depth of 12 meters under Divemaster guidance and includes credits towards the full 4 day course.

These interesting and formative courses, such as Nitrox Diver, Deep and Wreck are ideal for those divers wishing to have more detailed knowledge of certain specialized aspects of scuba diving. Devote one or two days of your dive holiday to a Specialty Course! For example, some of the live-aboard cruises we offer in the Andaman Sea offer an excellent opportunity to take the Photography Course. An experience worth trying.

Divemaster Course
The first step on the professional ladder. Become an all round diving expert who can safely lead fellow divers through all types of diving. Learn how to organize and supervise diving tours and assist in diver training. The course takes a minimum of three weeks, during which period you will get hands-on experience in boat diving, diver training, trip organization, accident prevention and lots more.
