GROUP SIZE, DURATION & PROGRAM INTEGRATION
The duration of a typical outreach project is 4 days with an average build tea of 20 - 50 students. When combined with an adventure program as part of a larger trip we will break students down into smaller groups and make 2 rotations. Often the outreachprogram will be multiple small projects within a single location including working alongside the school children or community members directly benefiting.

All preparation work and follow up work on any outreach programs is provided gratis by Wild Planet and we are happy to foster continued ties with with the communities in question by assisting on further visits or direction of additional funds raised. Any addtional fuindign for the outreach programs supplied by schools is trasnparently accounted speratly from program fees.
All basic costs for interaction projects are included within the trip costs, the projects take a practical, quantifiable form. Supervision is by qualified Adventure guides with additional construction experience. Some programs may require addtional funds for the purchase of construction materials.
Students wish to raise funds for soft support ( books, study items etc) can do so and then this can be arranged directly with the project school. WP staff are happy to liaise and translate prior to the visit.
