This overnight trip to the Wild Lodge is designed as an entry level for students into residential trips. We challenge the juniors though various activities based in or very close to the lodge to maximize time on site. Students are encouraged to discover the surrounding environs of the park on our river scramble and to explore their own comfort zones on our climbing tower. Team games and a campfire on the first evening also feature.

Over the last few years we have seen the popularity of the award increase markedly within schools around the region. We have been able to offer our services as providers and supervisory staff for various DOE, IYA and NYAA Bronze, Silver and Gold training and assessment programs based both on land and water around Thailand. We have used the Wild Lodge as a venue for unit leader training programs, as well as student and leader orientation programs for the award. This program allows students with little experience to gain a grounding in basic expeditioning skills.

A wide range of activities can be offered a large groups catered for with multiple activity sessions taking place on a rotational basis.
